The initiative, spearheaded by the Board of Directors of the Paññāsāstra International School, aimed to foster a sense of community and cultivate positive mindsets among students, teachers, and staff. Under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Kol Pheng and Mrs. Kol Kim Phalla, the event focused on several key objectives:  – Merit-Building: To promote a culture of giving and compassion among the Paññāsāstra community.  – Guidance and Inspiration: To provide students, teachers, and staff with valuable insights and advice from esteemed figures, Dr. Kol Pheng and Venerable Dr. Kou Sopheap.  – Alms Giving: To support the local monastic community through the act of offering alms to monks. The Kan Ben Solidarity event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and personal growth. By participating in this event, individuals were encouraged to cultivate good mindsets, seek guidance from experienced leaders, and contribute to the well-being of others. The blessings of the Buddha – Longevity, Nobility, Health and Strength – were invoked upon all participants, with the hope that they would embrace these qualities and strive for personal and spiritual development.

A total of 503 students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in English language proficiency. The ceremony was held at the Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center (CKCC) and presided over by distinguished guests, including Preah Bhikhu Vijirappañño Dr. Kou Sopheap (Senior Advisor of PUC), Dr. Kol Pheng (Founding Father and President of PUC), H.E. Veng Sereyvuth (Chairman of PUC Board of Trustees), H.E. Vaddhana P. Kol (Chief Operating Officer of PUC), and Professor Colin Young (Dean of the Institute of Foreign Languages of PUC). In addition to the university’s management team, faculty, and staff, over 1,000 guardians attended the ceremony to celebrate their children’s accomplishments. The English Diploma Awarding Ceremony is a testament to the Institute of Foreign Languages’ commitment to providing high-quality English language education and preparing students for success in a globalized world.

On September 24, 2024, the Institute of Foreign Languages of Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia hosted the Fourth English Diploma Awarding Ceremony. A total of 503 students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in English language proficiency.
